I'm not ready for thisSo, Reese just randomly asked me, "How do I know you're really my mommy?" To which I replied, "Well, Reese, let me show you." So I opened up the February 2007 folder of pictures and started to show her pictures of the day she was born. Then I said, "See, you were in my tummy and then you were out. That's how you know that I'm your mommy." I was not prepared for what came next..."How did I get out?" Uhhh..."The doctor took you out." "Out of your mouth?" she said. "No, not out of my mouth...out of my tummy." "Ok," she said. Phew! Submitted by Amy on Fri, 12/11/2009 - 5:26pm.

Reese & Olivia have seriously been spending too much time together! Yesterday we watched The Nativity movie and when Elizabeth gave birth to John the Baptist, Livy wanted to know why she was yelling & crying. Without really thinking ahead, I said that the baby was being born and it hurts when the baby comes out of your tummy. To which she of course replied, why? I was at a complete loss and just tried (unsuccessfully) to change the subject. After awhile she gave up, until the end of the movie when Mary gave birth to Jesus! This is why parents start saying things like "it's complicated" or "I'll tell you when you're older" or "because I said so!"
